The 9907-167 unit is a part of Woodward 505E series digital control equipment. These devices are part of the 505E series produced by Woodward. It is one of the oldest independent turbine control system manufacturers in the United States. The 505E series is designed for industrial scale steam turbines, small turbine generators or utility turbine expander models. The 505E pipeline is generally designed for single extraction and/or admission of steam turbine. It operates the turbine by using a pair of actuators to drive the inlet valve.
