The TRICONEX 9761-210 controller uses three identical channels. Each channel independently executes control programs parallel to the other two channels. A dedicated hardware/software voting mechanism identifies and verifies all digital inputs and outputs on site, while analog inputs require a medium value selection process. TRICONEX 9761-210 Since each channel is isolated from other channels, a single point of failure in any channel will not be transmitted to another channel. If a hardware failure does occur in one channel, other channels will overwrite it. Meanwhile, when the controller is online, the faulty module can be easily disassembled and replaced without interrupting the process.
The Triple Tricon system simplifies the setup of control programs because from the user’s perspective, it operates as a single control system.
