MVI69L-MBS Input output module
The input-output interface is the part that connects various signals between PLC and industrial control field. The input port is used to receive various parameters of the production process. The output port is used to send out control information obtained from the calculation of the programmable controller, and to complete various industrial field controls through external execution mechanisms. Due to the operation of programmable controllers in industrial production sites, there are two main requirements for input and output interfaces: first, the interface has good anti-interference ability, and second, the interface can meet the matching requirements of various signals in industrial sites.
1. Input port
Programmable controllers have designed different interface units for different interface requirements. There are mainly the following types.
(1) Digital input interface
Its function is to convert the digital (switch) signal on site into a standard signal processed internally by the programmable controller. The digital (switch) input interface is divided into DC input interface unit and AC input interface unit according to the types of external signal power sources that can be accepted.
PROSOFT MVI56-PDPS is a Modbus interface module launched by ProSoft Technology, used to connect communication between AB ControlLogix PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and Modbus devices.
The following are the main features and functions of the MVI56-PDPS module:
Modbus communication: The MVI56-PDPS module implements Modbus TCP/IP and Modbus RTU/ASCII protocols, enabling it to communicate with Modbus devices that support these protocols.
ControlLogix compatibility: This module is designed specifically for Allen Bradley ControlLogix series PLCs and can be directly installed on the backplane of ControlLogix controllers.
Flexible data processing: The MVI56-PDPS module can achieve data mapping and exchange between ControlLogix PLC and Modbus devices, allowing users to easily transfer data between the two systems.
Multiple communication modes: Supports multiple communication modes, including peer-to-peer, master/slave, and broadcast communication.
Fast data transmission: This module achieves efficient data exchange through fast data transmission and response time, making it suitable for real-time control and monitoring applications.
Configuration and diagnostic tools: ProSoft provides software tools for configuring and diagnosing MVI56-PDPS modules, allowing users to easily set and manage communication parameters.
