The industrial Ethernet switch IS420ESWBH3A is part of the Mark VIe safety control system designed by General Electric. This switch does not have any fiber ports, but it has 16 copper ports, which are 10/100Base TX RJ45 ports. The main function of this switch is to act as a primary Ethernet switch, with its core function being to buffer multicast and broadcast packets. There should be enough space to allow each port to buffer one packet; If multiple incoming streams are sent to the switch, it can only accept one incoming stream from multiple streams and buffer the remaining streams for future transmission.

There is an LED indicator light on the IS420ESWBH3A switch. There is a power indicator light, and the other indicator lights are activity and link function indicators. When the link indicator light is stable yellow, it indicates that a 10 MB link is being used; When it is in stable green, it indicates that a 100 MB link is being used; If no indicator light is on, it means there is no link. The colors of the activity LED are also green and yellow, but they will flash.
