Foxboro is an extensive instrument supplier with a long-term reputation. In addition to its instrument product line, the company is also famous for its I/A series, which is a distributed control system (DCS) launched in 1987. Foxboro has a proprietary protocol called FoxCom, although many of its instrument products now use the HART protocol.
