BENTLY 132417-01 Bentley card
The 3500/45 differential expansion monitor is a four channel monitor that receives input signals from eddy current sensors and uses this signal to drive alarms. Using the 3500 Rack Configuration Software to program 3500/45, it is possible to perform any of the following functions: differential expansion, compensated input differential expansion, and casing expansion (CH3, CH4 only). The 3500/45 monitor uses a displacement input/output module that can receive input signals from the following Bentley sensors.
Eddy current sensors: 25, 35, and 50mm extended range sensors and LVDT.
The basic function of the 3500/45 monitor is to provide 1) mechanical protection, which drives alarms by continuously comparing the rotor displacement with the alarm set point at that time. 2) Provide important rotor displacement information to operators and maintenance personnel. Alarm setpoints can be set using the 3500 rack configuration software. Alarm setpoints can be set for each valid proportional value, or danger setpoints can be set for each or both valid proportional values based on the monitor type.
When away from the manufacturer, the 3500/45 is delivered in an unconfigured form. When needed, the 3500/45 can be installed into the 3500 rack for configuration to perform the required monitoring functions.
The 3500/45 differential expansion/axial position monitor is a 4-channel monitor that can receive input signals from approaching eddy current sensors, rotating position sensors (RPT), DC linear variable differential converters (DCLVDT), AC linear variable differential converters (AC LVDT), and rotating potentiometers.
1900/65A Traditional Bently Nevada ® Monitoring systems, such as the 3500 series, are widely used to protect large and complex rotating machinery. However, for non critical equipment, basic equipment, or general purpose equipment, due to the high cost of this continuous monitoring system, it is rarely adopted, resulting in a lack of sufficient protection measures for these equipment during operation. The latest member of the Bently Nevada 1900 protection monitor product line, 1900/65, has been developed. It is a flexible and low-cost system specifically designed for continuous monitoring and protection of general-purpose or non critical equipment in multiple industries and applications.
3500/20 Rack Interface Module
The Rack Interface Module (RIM) is the basic interface of the 3500 rack. It supports Bently Nevada’s proprietary protocol for framework configuration and retrieval of information from the unit. The frame interface module must be placed in the first slot in the frame (next to the power supply).
RIM can be connected to compatible Bentley Nevada communication processors such as TDXnet, TDIX, and DDIX. Although RIM is
The entire framework provides some common functions, but it is not a part of the important monitoring path, which is crucial for the correctness of the entire monitoring system
It has no impact on normal operation. Each framework requires a framework interface module.
The front panel has an RS-232 serial interface, which can be connected to the host for data collection and framework configuration. The baud rate is 38.4K, and the cable length is required to be 30m long. The rear I/O module has an RS-232/RS-422 serial interface, which can also be connected to the host for data collection and framework configuration. The high baud rate is 38.4K, and the cable length is 30m for RS232 and 1200m for RS422. The RS422 interface can also enable multiple 3500 frames to communicate with 3500 host software through a daisy chain connection.
