• ABB’s DAPU100 controller is part of the Advant OCS industrial automation system.
  System: Advant OCS is an open, integrated, and distributed control system suitable for various industrial automation applications. It provides software solutions for all process and control fields from small to large systems, and has communication capabilities at all levels from fieldbus to high-speed factory networks.
  Component composition: The Advant controller consists of a CPU with application program memory, communication module, backup power supply, voltage regulator, monitoring module, submodule carrier, and other components.

  Processor version: The DAPU100 controller 450 has two versions of the processor (CPU): 8 or 16Mbyte dynamic RAM.
  Microprocessor module: The microprocessor module is a Motorola 68040, operating at a frequency of 25MHz. This module includes indicator lights and character display screens for advanced system diagnostics.
  Other features: The controller has a four position switch for selecting start/stop and working modes, as well as a restart button. The module front-end also includes a program card interface and a connection for S100 I/O bus communication. The memory of processor module PM511 can store system programs, controller system configurations, and applications executed at runtime. The system program is stored on a physical program card called PCMCIA.
