3300XL Sensor
The Bently 3300XL proximity eddy current sensor vibration monitoring system is a Bently Nevada non-contact sensor product. Eddy current sensors measure vibration by utilizing the gap variation between the surface of the rotating shaft and the end of the sensor probe, and have the characteristic of zero frequency response. When a high-frequency current is applied to the coil at the top of the probe and it approaches a conductive surface, eddy currents are generated on the surface of the conductive object due to the effect of the magnetic field lines of the coil, thereby reducing the inductance of the coil. The change in coil characteristics is converted into a DC voltage signal output. When the object being measured approaches the probe, a positive signal change will be generated; When the object being measured moves away from the probe, a negative signal change will occur.
