3300/16 is a dual vibration monitor developed by Bently Nevada. It uses inputs from two proximity probes/proximity systems to continuously detect and monitor two independent channels for radial vibration and average shaft position (gap). This monitor is designed to replace the 3300/15 dual radial vibration monitor that lacks radial position gap alarms.
The power supply can be programmed to -24 Vdc or -18 Vdc by the user, with current limited to a single monitoring circuit board.
User programmable frequency response from 4 to 4000 Hz (240 to 240000 cpm) or 1 to 600 Hz (60 to 36000 cpm)- 3 decibels
The frequency range of 1 to 600 Hz (60 to 36000 CPM) is not recommended for machine applications that require rapid start-up and inertial descent rates, as well as acceleration/deceleration rates exceeding 1000 rpm/s.
Due to the expansion of the low-frequency range to 60 CPM (such as motor drive equipment), the monitoring circuit will retain common vibration transients during rapid start-up.
This can maintain the vibration level above the alarm set point after the alarm time delay.
Even if the actual vibration has decreased below the danger alarm set point level, this may still cause the danger relay to activate after the internal delay ends.
If the traditional 4 Hz (240 CPM) low-frequency limit is not sufficient to meet your application, please contact your sales representative.
For applications with shaft speeds below 1000 rpm, it is recommended to use the 1 Hz (60 CPM) option.

An alarm relay module can be installed behind each monitor. Each 3300 system must include at least one relay module.

LCD display with non multiplexed vertical bar chart (LCD). Each channel has its own 63 segment LCD. On the third center scale, the probe gap is indicated. LCD displays are also used.
