The 3500/40-01-00  is a preamplifier monitoring module designed and developed by Bently Nevada. It is a preamplifier monitor I/O module manufactured and designed by Bently Nevada, as part of the 3500 series, used to control mechanical status monitoring systems. The monitor receives input from a proximity sensor manufactured by Bentley Nevada, adjusts the signal to generate different vibrations and position measurements, and compares the adjusted signal with a user programmable alarm. Radial vibration, thrust position, differential expansion, eccentricity, and REBAM functions can all be programmed into each channel using 3500 rack configuration software. The preamplifier monitor I/O module is designed to provide the necessary inputs and outputs for connecting proximity probes and monitoring their signals. It typically includes multiple channels to accommodate multiple probes and can be connected to various types of proximity probes, such as eddy current probes and capacitive probes. The GE/Bently Nevada Proximitor Monitor is a 4-channel monitor that receives input from Bently Nevada manufactured proximity sensors, adjusts signals to produce different vibrations and position measurements, and compares the adjusted signals with user programmable alarms.
