3500/15-02-02-00 Half height module
The 3500/15-02-02-00 power supply is a half height module that must be installed in a specially designed slot on the left side of the frame. The 3500/15-02-02-00 frame can be equipped with one or two power sources (any combination of AC or DC). Any of these power sources can supply power to the entire framework. If two power sources are installed, the second power source can serve as a backup for the first power source. When installing two power sources, the upper power source serves as the main power source and the lower power source serves as the backup power source. As long as one power source is installed, removing or installing the second power module will not affect the operation of the frame. The 3500 power supply can accept a wide range of input voltages and convert them into voltages that other 3500 modules can accept.
For the 3500 mechanical protection system, there are three types of power sources:
1. AC power supply
2. High voltage DC power supply
3. Low voltage DC power supply
3500/15 is a high-voltage AC/DC power module developed by Bently Nevada. This component is a half height module and must be installed in the designated slot on the left side of the rack. This component is used as the power module for the Bentley Nevada Mechanical Condition Monitoring System. The Legacy 3500 AC power supply, high voltage AC PIM, and low voltage AC PIM are not compatible with universal AC power supply and PIM (power input module). The Legacy 3500 high and low voltage DC power supply and PIM are not compatible with the Legacy 3500 high and low voltage DC power supply and PIM.
