VMIVME-4140 32 channel 12 bit analog output board features:
32 analog output channels
-Maximum output current of 10mA per channel
-One 12 bit D/A converter (DAC) for each output channel
0.8 Ω output impedance
• Random update (non scanning)
• Double buffered output for software or external synchronous updates
Single reference potentiometer – no need for other manual calibration
• Start automatic calibration through reset or software commands
The VMIVME-4140 analog output board provides 32 high-quality analog output channels with 12 bit resolution, capable of outputting or absorbing 10 mA current at ± 10 V voltage.
Each output has a dedicated D/A converter (DAC).
The analog output can be disconnected from the on-site wiring for offline testing. Calibration and self-test are initiated by resetting the VMEbus system or executing software commands.
During calibration, the offset and gain coefficient tables will be compiled and stored in RAM. Among the 32 channels configured within six output voltage ranges, each channel has a corresponding offset and gain.
Self check: After the system is reset, it will automatically run a self check.
The self-test register displays success or failure and can indicate the channel where the fault occurred.
Front panel status LED: The LED lights up after the system is reset. After successful self check and automatic calibration, the LED will turn off. This LED can also be turned on or off under software control.
