Woodward 5453-279 Discrete I/O Module
Woodward 5453-279 Discrete I/O Module Product Details:
Digital Input and Output: Discrete I/O modules typically provide digital input and output functionality. Digital inputs are used to receive discrete signals (such as switch status, sensor status, etc.), while digital outputs are used to control discrete devices (such as relays, solenoid valves, etc.).
Number of channels: This module may have multiple discrete input channels and/or discrete output channels to support the connection of multiple sensors and actuators.
Protection level: Discrete I/O modules usually have appropriate protection levels to adapt to different industrial environments, such as dust and water resistance levels.
High reliability: These types of modules are typically designed for high reliability to ensure continuous and stable operation in industrial automation systems.
Communication Interface: This module may support multiple communication interfaces, such as Modbus, Profibus, DeviceNet, etc., for data exchange with PLC, DCS, or other upper control systems.
Fast response time: In order to meet the requirements of real-time control, discrete I/O modules usually have fast input and output response times.
Programmability: Some modules may have a certain degree of programmability to enable custom configuration and logical operations based on specific application requirements.

Product Description
Product number 9907-014 is part of the Woodward 2301A series load sharing and speed control. The 9907-014 model operates within the low-voltage range, with a working power supply of 20-40 Vdc. This model is specifically designed for speed control systems, rather than load distribution and speed control systems.
When using control devices and magnetic pickup sensors, you need to measure the voltage by measuring the 28th and 29th terminals. When the control device is at the starting speed, the minimum voltage on the terminal will be 1.0 V. At the rated speed, Vrms should be 30 V. If for any reason the voltage exceeds 30 V, it is necessary to increase the gap of the speed sensor. When performing these operations, ensure that the voltage at the starting speed is still 1.0 V.
All cables used to connect the control device to the engine must be shielded and must be twisted pair. Never attempt to weld woven shielding. Doing so may result in serious injury and cable failure. When connecting the control device, it must be properly grounded, and the connection from the ground to the grounding plate will provide true grounding for the chassis of the control device.
