-It can support up to 118 I/O modules (analog and digital) and optional communication modules. The communication modules can be connected to Modbus hosts and slaves, or to Foxboro Honeywell distributed control systems (DCS), other Tricons within the Peer to Peer network, and external hosts on the TCP/IP network.
-Can support remote I/O modules located within 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) away from the main frame
-Develop and debug control programs using programming software based on the WINDOWSNT system.
-Equipped with intelligent functions within the input and output modules to reduce the workload of the main processor
