BENTLY 3500/92 Interface Module
3500/92 is a communication gateway module developed by Bently Nevada. The 3500/92 communication gateway module provides a wide range of serial (RS232/RS422/RS485) and Ethernet TCP/IP communication functions, used to integrate all rack monitoring values and status with process control and other automation systems. In addition, it also supports Ethernet communication with data collection software and 3500 rack configuration software. The supported protocols include:
Modicon Modbus protocol (via serial communication)
Modbus/TCP protocol (serial Modbus variant for TCP/IP Ethernet communication)
Proprietary Bently Nevada Protocol (for communication with 3500 rack configuration and data collection software packages)
3500/92 Function Description
For 10BASE-T star configuration Ethernet, the Ethernet connection for 3500/92 is RJ45 connection. In addition to the main value Modbus register, the 3500/92 supports the communication interface, communication protocol, and additional functions of the original 3500/90. The main value Modbus register in 3500/92 has been replaced by the configurable Modbus register utility and can now provide the same functionality.

3500/92 Data Types
Utilize high-speed internal networks to collect information from other modules in the rack, including current measured values with time stamps, module status, and current alarm status.
The exact data type returned depends on the channel configuration and module type.
Update time: The data collection rate of all modules in the 3500 rack will not exceed 1 second, depending on the design of the rack.
