ABB CM574-RS 1SAP170400R0201 Communication module
1. CPU
(1) Read program instructions from program memory, compile and execute instructions.
(2) Take in various input signals.
(3) Send the calculation result to the output terminal.
(4) Respond to requests from various external devices.
2. Memory
RAM: stores various temporary data, intermediate results, and programs being debugged by users.
ROM: stores the monitoring program and the user’s debugged program.
3. Input and output interfaces: photoelectric isolation is adopted to realize the electrical isolation between the internal circuit and external circuit of PLC and reduce electromagnetic interference.
Input interface function: convert the signals generated by buttons, travel switches or sensors into digital signals and send them to the host.
Output interface function: convert the signal output from the host machine into the signal that can drive the external executive circuit, so as to control the power on and off of the contactor coil and other electrical appliances; In addition, the output circuit also isolates the computer from external strong current.
Three types of output: relay — low-speed high-power thyristor — high-speed high-power transistor — high-speed low-power
Input interface circuit: photoelectric coupler is adopted to prevent strong current interference.
Output interface circuit: modular.
Various interfaces and high function modules: easy to expand.

Do not connect multiple power modules in parallel to one module.
The power module may be heated, causing fire or failure. If the 24VDC output capacity of a single power module is insufficient, please supply power from an external 24VDC power supply. Screw the 100VAC, 200VAC or 24VDC wires as tight as possible, and use the * * small length connected between modules.
In addition, use thick wire (2 mm2 (0.0031 in. 2)) to minimize the voltage drop.
(h) Do not connect 100VAC and 24VDC wires with main circuit wires (high voltage and high current) or I/O signal wires (including common wire). Provide a
If possible, the distance between them is 100 mm (3.94 inches) or more.
(i) As a measure for lightning surge protection, connect — lightning surge absorbers as shown below. (1) Connect the lightning surge absorber (E1) and PLC (E2) to each other
(2) Select the arrester whose voltage does not exceed the allowable circuit voltage, even if the line voltage reaches the value.) Wiring I/O equipment
